  • Attendance Award Winners

    Published 10/12/24

We are incredibly proud to share that BGN has been recognised with a FFT National School Attendance Award for the 2023/24 academic year!

This outstanding achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of our students, staff and parents in making every school day count.  Attendance is a cornerstone of educational success, and these awards highlight the collective effort of our entire school community.

The Award - We are in the top 25% of all FFT secondary schools in England.  This award demonstrates our exceptional standards in attendance compared to all secondary schools nationwide, reaffirming our commitment to high-quality education for all our students.

Why Attendance Matters - Good attendance is fundamental to success in school and beyond.  At BGN we emphasise the importance of every day, on time, knowing that regular attendance leads to better learning outcomes, stronger social connections, and the development of valuable life skills.

A Community Effort - These awards are not just a reflection of numbers; they are a testament to the resilience and dedication of our entire school community.  From the hard work of our students to the encouragement of parents, and the dedication of our staff, everyone has played a vital role in achieving this milestone.

A Word of Thanks - We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this success. Together, we have shown what can be achieved with hard work, determination, and a shared commitment to excellence.

Continuing the Journey - While these awards are a moment of celebration, they also inspire us to continue striving for even greater heights. At BGN we are determined to build on this success and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
